Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Oh the weather outside is frightful (it is 49 F right now),
But the fire is so delightful (okay really our Central heat is on, but it's toasty warm),
And since we've no place to go (Ray's watching Wrestling, and I'm about to curl up with a good book),
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow (somewhere else please).

It doesn't show signs of stopping (in other states according to weather.com),
And I've bought some corn for popping (hmmmm microwave popcorn sounds pretty okay),
The lights are turned way down low (hard to read my book in the dark, somebody please turn on the lights),
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow (man is it snowing in Wisconsin, 6" snow, wow poor people must be cold).

When we finally kiss goodnite (probably because we go to bed at different times lately due to my "addiction" to youtube videos and my online friends' blogs),
How I'll hate going out in the storm (or the breezy nite in our case to let Freckles out yet again so he can make sure nothing has wandered into his yard),
But if you'll really hold me tight (boy does Ray hate it when I warm my cold feet on his warm legs, how else is a girl supposed to get warm???),
All the way home I'll be warm (or is it all night long I'll be warm, but poor Ray).

The fire is slowly dying (actually the central heat has reached the designated temperature of 73F and has shut off until necessary),
And my dear we're still goodbying (until morning, or I need to warm my cold feet again),
But as long as you love me so (and he must b/c he puts up with my cold feet),
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow (wherever I'm not).

Love your rendition...I must go now and stoke the coals (which is, figuratively speaking, my husband in our bed) because he too keeps my feet warm. ;)

I always warm my freezing feet on hubby's legs. You're right, how else am I supposed to get warm? :-)
