Wacky Wed...what cereal are you?

You Are Corn Flakes

You are traditional and easy going.

If something is high quality, you're satisfied with it.

You don't need much variety or novelty in your life.

You're happy with what you have. You're quite loyal.

You're the type of person who eats the same breakfast every day...

And likely at the exact same time each day!

Playing Catch up....

Okay, so I admit it...I've been quite the lazy bones when it comes to keeping you up to date with what we have been up to...

Well first of all, Ray has changed jobs...he now is working at Disney's Animal Kingdom...it is definitely a change as he is working second shift, so it is hard to get used to it, for both of us...but as we like to think of it...he's in training for the time difference between home and China (he'll be on China time in no time, when it is finally our turn to go that is...come on referral speed ups....)...

Since Ray had to work Mom got to attend Java and Jazz with our good friends Don and Be....we had a great time...thanks guys...

and then we had the first of our fund raisers, the first garage sale (part two will take place 5/23 - 5/24 at our house, wish us luck that it will be as successful as the first one, as one of our "families" just accepted a referral for their daughter, so we need to help her raise money, and quickly)...

here's Ali "helping" at the garage sale (thanks Ginnie and Jay for sharing Ali and making us feel like she is also our daughter/niece/just part of the family)....

Hope you guys have a great week...and keep us up to date as your goings on...and don't forget..the raffle tickets are still on sale (until 5/23..the drawing is 5/24 at our next garage sale..so buy your tickets now)...see my sidebar for more details...let's help bring our daughters home!!

Some Thursday laughs...

A small boy is sent to bed by his father. Five minutes later....'Da-ad.' 'What?' 'I'm thirsty. Can you bring drink of water?' 'No, You had your chance. Lights out.' Five minutes later: 'Da-aaaad.....' 'WHAT?' 'I'm THIRSTY. Can I have a drink of water??'
I told you NO! If you ask again, I'll have to spank you!!' Five minutes later.....'Daaaa-aaaad... ..' 'WHAT!' 'When you come in to spank me, can you bring a drink of water?'

An exasperated mother, whose son was always getting into mischief, finally asked him 'How do you expect to get into Heaven?' The boy thought it over and said, 'Well, I'll run in and out and in and out and keep slamming the door until St. Peter says, 'For Heaven's sake, Dylan, come in or stay out!''

One summer evening during a violent thunderstorm a mother was tucking her son into bed. She was about to turn off the light when he asked with a tremor in his voice, 'Mommy, will you sleep with me tonight?' The mother smiled and gave him a reassuring hug. 'I can't dear,' she said. 'I have to sleep in Daddy's room' A long silence was broken at last by his shaky little voice: 'The big baby'

One day the first grade teacher was reading the story of Chicken Little to her class. She came to the part of the story where Chicken Little tried to warn the farmer. She read, '.... and so Chicken Little went up to the farmer and said, 'The sky is falling, the sky is falling!' The teacher paused then asked the class, 'And what do you think that farmer said?' One little girl raised her hand and said, 'I think he said: 'Holy Cow! A talking chicken!'' The teacher was unable to teach for the next 10 minutes.

A little girl asked her mother, 'Can I go outside and play with the boys?' Her mother replied, 'No, you can't play with the boys, they're too rough.' The little girl thought about it for a few moments and asked, 'If I can find a smooth one, can I play with him?'

and finally....

A certain little girl, when asked her name, would reply, 'I'm Mr. Sugarbrown's daughter.' Her mother told her this was wrong, she must say, 'I'm Jane Sugarbrown.'
The Vicar spoke to her in Sunday School, and said, 'Aren't you Mr. Sugarbrown's daughter?' She replied, 'I thought I was, but mother says I'm not.'

Wacky Wed....Double bonus

Gotta love the slogan...

Your Slogan Should Be

Dannye. Uncommonly Made, Uncommonly Good.

This just doesn't seem like me...what do you think??

What Your Taste in Chocolate Says About You

You are sophisticated, modern, and high class.

Your taste is refined, but you are not picky.

You are often the first to try something new.

You are a whimsical person prone to daydreaming.

Artistic and creative, you're always in the middle of a project.

While you are an inspiration to others, you can come off as flaky.

You love to be the center of attention. You enjoy entertaining your friends.

You feel lost when no one is interested in you... You're too interesting to be ignored.

Wacky Wed...what kind of nut are you?

Since we are all a little nutty....here's a quiz to find out what kind of nut you are...happy Wednesday!!

You Are A Peanut

You are popular, even with people who tend to have picky taste.

Kids love you, as do dogs. From rednecks to snobs, most people have a place for you in their hearts.

As popular as you are, there are some people who can't be near you.

Don't take it too personally. There's just a few people you rub the wrong way.

Friday funny....

After Bill had spent several days campaigning for her and lost his temper many times which cost her votes and finally escaping from her overly controlling campaign manager for the evening, Hillary sneaked off to visit a fortune teller of some local repute.

In a dark and hazy room, peering into a crystal ball, the mystic delivered grave news. "There's no easy way to say this, so I'll just be blunt: Prepare yourself to be a widow. Your husband will die a violent death this year just after you lose the election."

Then the soothsayer looked up and locked eyes with Hillary, who was visibly shaken at this news.

Hillary stared back at the woman's lined face, then at the single flickering candle, then down at her shaking hands. She took a few deep breaths to compose herself. She simply had to know. She looked back, deep into the fortune teller's gaze, steadied her voice, and asked her the big question:

"Will I be acquitted?"
