Adam's birthday party

What a wonderful day today, we got to spend some time with Adam before his birthday party. And what terrific gifts he received from his friends and family.

The Disney monorail system was amazing, and I even got to help him put the Contemporary Hotel together so the monorail could make a "scheduled" stop while traveling through the Hotel, it is so life-like, the doors open and miniature Mickey and Minnie and I think goofy too. So neat.

Then we went to the park by the river and had his party with his friends. My sister (and brother in law) really did an amazing job, pizza, chicken strips, mac 'n cheese (which my mom made, the blue box please), fruit (apples, bananas, cherries), chips, veggies (carrots, celery, tomatoes), and even a cookie decorating station for the kids (what a big success this station was).

They even had water, juice boxes, gatorade, what a variety, a something for everyone type of party.

The kids played on the swing set, slides, croquet, there was a crafts station to make ornaments, and the biggest hit of all (now remember they are 7 year old boys mostly) was the blowfish that washed up on shore (they were trying to poke it with the stick, and giggling all the way).

The cake was so cute, and sugared the kids up even more, and then the favorite part of a birthday party, the presents. And boy does Adam have great friends. He got
cars, and books, and radio controlled cars, helicopter, and airplane, and Tonka puzzle cars and trucks, board games, and just wow.
What a great time, celebrating Adam. We enjoyed ourselves and were just thrilled to share it with Adam (thanks Katy and David for everything, you guys are the best!!!).
