Apparently not included this month, AGAIN

So just heard rumors that matches have begun arriving, and unfortunately we are not included AGAIN this month...I don't mean to sound like I'm not happy for those who have received their referrals as I am soooo happy for them, but I am so disappointed after once again getting on this roller coaster ride and getting my hopes up so high again this month. We don't know what the cutoff date is yet, so don't know how many days they did this month, but the bumpy roller coaster ride continues another month (or two, or three)....hopefully next month (or maybe we will get a surprise call this month, a girl can hope right???)

Rumors starting to float around, and National Junk Food Day

Well, the rumors that the CCAA are starting to make the matches are starting to float around the internet (okay on Rumor Queen's website, and thus the adoption community is starting to talk about it)....so guess who's back on the emotional roller coaster, putting her heart on the line to hopefully not be crushed that once again not only are we not included in this batch, but that the CCAA didn't do but a few days...that's right ME. I just know in my heart though that we may possibly be included in this batch, the Rumor Queen numbers seem to make sense that we will in this batch and finally see her face and learn who she is, but I'm secretly scared this won't be the case again, and thus our waiting to see her/meet her will keep increasing. Come on CCAA, please don't make me wait too much longer, I (along with my family and friends) want to finally meet Chynna, please help us make that a reality.

On another note, I just learned that today is National Junk Food Day. What is this day you may ask. Well, here's what I learned:

When is it? Every July 21st

What is it?

Well, to some people, every day is Junk Food Day. But for others, National Junk Food Day is an opportunity to guiltlessly eat your favorite junk food. Dietitians will tell you that junk food is any food that contains little nutritional value. It also includes foods that are high in salts, fats, and sugars. In other words, junk food is all that tasty stuff that the dietitians, and our Moms, consider to be bad for us.

On National Junk Food Day, you get to eat anything you want and in any amounts that you want. But after today, it's back to eating healthy, you know celery and carrot sticks, salads, and all that other healthy stuff.

Please Note: Junk food may be hazardous to your health. After all, mom knows what's best for you. Do eat it at your own risk. That risk includes Mom saying: "I told you so!"

So while in order to pass the time while we wait, let's eat the chips, dips, cookies, cakes, and all that other yummy Junk Food!!!

I expect to see a report tomorrow that the CCAA is preparing to get started with the matching process. I’m hoping they are mailed sometime by the middle to end of next week.

But as of now – all is quiet.

5 years waiting, watching, yearning

Today marks 5 years since our papers have been logged in with China. 5 years waiting, 5 years watching all our friends experience what we long to experience, 5 years yearning to see her face, 5 years....and we still wait, with all the patience we can muster knowing soon will be our turn, soon we will say we have been matched, and she will be perfect for our family....so we will continue to wait, to watch, and to yearn for us to be matched. Finally getting closer

Well we are getting closer to seeing our little girl's face, and we can't wait. It has been a long road, but I know it is all in God's timing. The CCAA now known as the CCCWA is working on matching and the last matching process was through June 20, 2006. So almost 5 years later since our LID (and 5 1/2 years since we started the process), we are very close to seeing her face. I'm guessing about 3-5 more months.

In the meantime, we will start some more fundraising, so stay tuned for posts on those. However, if you can donate (any amount), it would be greatly appreciated. Costs are on the rise, and any help, any amount, is appreciated. I have added a chip in button on the side and also a donate button.

4 yrs LID today or 2102400 minutes

yes we have been waiting 4 yrs today for the arrival of our Chynna, and we will continue to wait....it is getting closer and we hope we only have about 5 more months. We're waiting baby girl for you to be as ready for us as we are for you!
