We are so proud of you Ray!!

My hubby has been working quite hard going back to school to get his GED/High School Diploma....studying and going to school at nights, trying to remember that stuff you learned in school...well the week of 9/4 he took the test, three nights long, 3 hrs each night....and he waited and waited, telling me that they said if he gets the large envelope it means he passed, and the small envelope means he would have to take all or part of it over again....

Well Friday, I came home early from work, and in the mailbox was a card from the post office that a large envelope was waiting for one of us from our County....of course I didn't put two and two together, laid the card on the table under the rest of the "junk" mail and went to lay down....unfortunately when I awoke I still forgot about the card and didn't tell Ray about it....then my Mom, who I told about the card (again still didn't know what it was), called our house cuz she may have put two and two together, but didn't want to excite Ray so didn't say anything to him...

Fast forward to Saturday morning....again, air-head me no memory nor mention to Ray, but again my Mom calls (while I am still sleeping) at noon and asks Ray if he or I went to the post office, which is now the first time Ray knows anything about it, and he nonchalantly says "no, but I'll go get it Monday", well Monday was Columbus day so no post office...so poor Ray had to wait until this morning....

Promptly at 8:30 am, as soon as the post office opened, Ray went to the post office and got his large envelope!! Yup, my honey now has his High School Diploma!! He is so tickled pink, and I am oh so proud!!
