Our weekend recap, my how busy we were....

On Saturday was my nephew Adam's First Communion, so we were blessed enough to be able to attend this significant event...and even our extended "family" Jennifer, Hubby Ed, and most adorable son Evan aka Ebbie came up from Miami to attend...

Evan is only 3 (a few months shy of 4), but he did amazing during the service, and kept me entertained with playing a game of who could stick their tongue out the furthest...needless to say, I lost to a 3 year old...guess this is something I may need to get used to...hehe


then the seriousness started, and how proud we were of Adam, he is growing up way too fast...





He was even given his own "body of Christ" to take home....he really was quite excited about this...



Back to their house, where the gift giving commenced, and Ebbie "helped" out...


There was even cake....it was quite yummy too!!

Adam couldn't wait to cut the cake...

"What do you mean we have to wait for the cameras to be ready?"


"Okay we'll pose, how's this?"

It really wore some of the group out, so some naps were then had (Ed, Ray, and Dad...must be a man thing??? hehe, of course they had been up since the middle of the night and Ray all night...can't imagine why they felt they needed some sleep....hehe)


Then on Sunday, we had the privilege of meeting some new friends Amy and her husband Michael (what great peeps they are, we loved meeting you guys....), along with some of our other local friends (Don and Be, Ginnie and her hubby Jay and sons Christopher and Chase and daughter Ali), and Ray and my mom and me....what a handsome group we make huh?? We hit it off beautifully:
