This blog was set up to journal the wait for Chynna, who is from Jiangxi China (we were LID 7/14/06, and received our referral 8/29/11). I am so happy you are joining in this amazing journey.

Did my patriotic duty....
I voted....be sure and do your part too....make your voice be heard...and vote!!!
We did early voting about 2 weeks ago and discovered that you had better be REAL sure about the candidate for whom you vote. Issues with the various candidates can change in 2 weeks time and we would have switched allegience to another candidate had we known the evolution of issues over the 2 week period. But our vote was already counted and there was nothing we could do. Next time, we'll vote early to avoid waiting at the polls (which can be pretty crowded in our area)but we'll do it a day or 2 before the actual day.

Yep, you can't complaint about the government if you don't vote!
