This blog was set up to journal the wait for Chynna, who is from Jiangxi China (we were LID 7/14/06, and received our referral 8/29/11). I am so happy you are joining in this amazing journey.

Hope they haven't changed....
Well, it's once again time for renewal of our I-171H (U.S.'s approval to adopt from China), which expires 12/9....nothing like cutting it close right, living on the edge, keeping things exciting...
thanks to lots of wonderful people helping us keep our Petition active, Debra (our SW) has already prepared our updated Home Study, we have forwarded our I-600a (Petition to adopt from China) and USCIS immediately set us up for our fingerprint appt...12/1 at 10:00 a.m.
so today we will be heading down to USCIS to prove to the U.S. that nothing has changed, our fingerprints are the same as they were back in 6/06 when we first got fingerprinted...amazing how that happens huh?? hehe

Hope all went well checking out your new fingerprints!

I am SO thankful that we don't have to do any of that extra stuff here in Alberta.....yet.
Glad the FBI cleared you - you must b relieved to know you havn't sold any government secerts. Whew!
Dannye,
Don't you dare send Lily any more presents until I get your gifts to you for Chynna - I feel so horrible that I haven't sent them yet!
Maybe by Christmas!?
But thanks for being proud of her...I am too. (she is sleeping soundly as I type this. Hallelujah!)
Hugs to you, Dannye! You are such a sweetheart.
I'm going to have to do this in a few more moths as well.
Glad you had a good laugh over my naughty little Things! lol
We go in 12/5 at 9am to have ours re-done. It makes you jealous of the Canadians who don't have to go through this over again.
Hey girl,
What's up with the blanket drive? I haven't heard anything and I have 4 blankets here for you. I'd also be happy to post anything I can for your cause, so let me know : )
I second what Janet said! Thank heavens we don't have to do that yet.
